Introduction: what's the Iqbal day?
The Iqbal Day is an Italian local educational project started during February 2000 and still alive today.
With this website I would like to point your attention at the children's participation process that started an articulated chain of events, involving local institutions, schools, civil society via many associations, organising and leading workshops and others pubblic events.
Front February to May 2000 children of the IV class (9-10 year olds) of the V. Randi of Ravenna setted up their own group to work around this issue: how and what can we do to avoid the forgetting of Iqbal Masih?
By this way children were fully involved in a series of action to link the global dimension at their responsabilities, gradually builing up and raising their global citizenship profile.
